Collmus to call for racing's Triple Crown of NBC
NEW YORK (AP) - Monmouth and Gulfstream Park announcer Larry Collmus is the new voice of Triple Crown.Collmus of races called the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes for NBC. Replaces Tom Durkin, who opted for not to sign with the network, citing health concerns.Collmus has called racing for more than 25 years, getting his start in Bowie Racecourse in 1985 at the age of 18.
