Uncle Mo solid during Kentucky Derby 1

LOUISVILLE, KY-trainer Todd Pletcher said that it was optimistic of Kentucky Derby contender guy will be able to make a career of roses.The Colt of 3 years worked five furlongs in mud Churchill Downs on Tuesday, covering the distance in seconds 1:01.80 with rider John Velazquez.Pletcher said Uncle Mo "in good shape" waiting on the same track where he captured the Breeders' Cup juvenile last fall. Pletcher and owner Mike Repole have been monitoring Uncle Mo already finished their third place in the wood Memorial on April 9, the horse was diagnosed with a gastrointestinal infection after the race. Pletcher said that Uncle Mo has been responding well to treatment.Will Uncle Mo work under the twin towers new early week next.
